Patrick McNeil is a robot. That's the only explanation I can come up with as to how he is able to catalog and dissect the sheer amount of wonderful websites in his collection. His main site, design meltdown, is full of categorized sections either by color usage, design elements usage (i.e. photographic backgrounds, splatter effects, etc), and site types (i.e. blogs, portfolios, government, ecommerce, etc).

Whiteshark Creations is fortunate enough to have been recognized on his sister site, daily slurp, which has a more frequently updated hodgepodge of fine-looking, well-performing sites. I'd like to think we made the list because we're both.
